About the Role

We are a London-based company seeking a creative and execution-driven Social Media Manager Intern with strong hands-on skills in social media management, video editing, graphic design, and AI-assisted content creation. This role is ideal for candidates who understand how to use AI tools and prompting techniques to improve content quality, speed, and consistency while working with a global team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging social media content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and others, including captions, creatives, reels, and short-form videos.
• Use AI tools effectively for content ideation, caption writing, hashtag research, content calendars, and creative optimization.
• Write clear and effective AI prompts to generate high-quality content, visuals, and video ideas.
• Edit videos for reels, shorts, and promotional content using basic to intermediate video editing tools.
• Design social media creatives, thumbnails, and story content using tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
• Assist in planning and executing social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals.
• Monitor social media trends, formats, and audience behavior to optimize content performance.
• Manage posting schedules and maintain consistency across platforms.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
• Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth, and prepare basic performance reports.
• Support social media campaigns and collaborate with the marketing team when required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their content formats.
• Mandatory knowledge of AI tools and prompting techniques for social media content creation and optimization.
• Ability to write effective prompts for generating captions, post ideas, scripts, and creative concepts.
• Practical knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN, or similar.
• Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong sense of visual aesthetics, trends, and storytelling.
• Good written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

• Experience using AI tools for design, video, or automation workflows.
• Prior experience managing a social media page, brand, or personal content account.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.
