The Stratasys Summer Internship Program is a 12-week paid experience from May to August that lets you make an impact from day one. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience on real, high-impact projects—contributing to key initiatives or even leading your own, depending on your skills and initiative.

The Software Engineering Internship will support real projects as a valuable part of an R&D team. This exceptional hands-on program will focus on embedded software development for 3D printers. You will gain software design and documentation experience with 3D printers, C++, Linux, and software development tools as well as experience with agile development processes and tools. You'll be integrated into a development scrum team where you'll be able to complete at least one impactful project.

What you will be doing:

• Writing embedded software/firmware for 3D printer products and technology
• Testing both manually and automatically of 3D printer software
• Working with software/firmware design and documentation
• Participating in agile software development tools and processes
• Collaborating in a project team under the mentorship of senior engineers

Must have for this role:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Two years of higher education must be completed - (Entering Junior or Senior year education as of Spring 2026)
• Must have focus on Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Knowledge of C++ and Linux
• Local to Minnesota or able to relocate without assistance to the Minnetonka, MN area

Nice to have:

• 3D printing experience highly desired
• Preferred Major(s): Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering

Additional Information:

For this position, the base salary is $21.50 per hour.
