Job Description: Internal Auditor:
1. Conduct regular and surprise audits of cash transactions, cash handling procedures, and cash balances.
2. Verify the accuracy of cash records, including daily cash receipts, disbursements, and deposits.
3. Investigate discrepancies between recorded and actual cash balances and report findings.
4. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls related to cash handling, cash registers, vaults, and safes.
5. Recommend enhancements to internal controls to prevent fraud, theft, and mismanagement of cash.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures concerning cash management.
7. Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings, highlight discrepancies, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
8. Present audit findings to senior management and suggest corrective actions to address any identified issues.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cash audit activities, findings, and recommendations.
10. Ensure that all documentation related to cash transactions and audits is organized and easily accessible.
Qualifications:
1. ACCA, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience in auditing, accounting, or a
similar role, with a focus on cash management.
3. Strong understanding of internal controls,
financial regulations, and cash management practices.
4. Proficiency in financial auditing software and tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
