Job Summary
The Junior HR Generalist supports the Human Resources department in day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment support, employee records management, payroll coordination, and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an entry-level HR professional looking to build a strong foundation across multiple HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in posting job vacancies and screening resumes
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates
- Support onboarding activities including documentation and orientation
Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR databases
- Prepare HR letters (offer, appointment, confirmation, experience, etc.)
- Track employee attendance, leave, and probation status
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Assist with monthly payroll data preparation
- Coordinate statutory compliances (PF, ESI, PT, etc.)
- Support employee benefits administration
Employee Relations
- Address basic employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures
- Support employee engagement activities and HR initiatives
Compliance & Policy Support
- Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws
- Assist in audits and HR reporting
- Support implementation of HR policies and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 0–2 years of HR or administrative experience
- Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR processes
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with HRMS or payroll software
- Internship or prior HR exposure
- Willingness to learn and adapt
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
