Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Join a dedicated team providing vital Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments aimed at supporting our nation's Veterans. This opportunity allows you to work in a flexible environment within your own office, with positions available across the country.

Current Openings:

• Half-day per week in Juneau or Sitka (within 50-mile radius)
• Two days per week in Delta Junction (within 75-mile radius)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments
• Conduct primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations
• Complete required documentation promptly and accurately
• Engage in quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Maintain communication during assessments and follow-up tasks

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing and assessing respiratory and cardiovascular health - REQUIRED
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
• Must own a laptop (non-Mac/Apple)
• Willingness to complete DMA training to gain DMA certification

License and Certification Requirements:

• AANP certification - REQUIRED
• Active and unrestricted full license in Alaska - REQUIRED
