Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine

Join us in Houston, Texas, where we are seeking dedicated General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This role supports our nation s Veterans in a dynamic practice where you have the option to work in your own office. Enjoy flexibility with PRN shifts while making a significant impact in the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• No prescribing or treatment involved.
• Complete required administrative work, including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic readings within scheduled hours.
• Maintain open communication with the team to ensure quality assessments and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification is required.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license in Alaska.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Medicine.
