Internal Medicine Physician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine MD or Acute Gerentology to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. As an MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results.
• Administer medications, including injections, IV infusions, and other treatments as required.
• Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Manage acute pain and chronic conditions through appropriate treatment modalities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
• Engage in telehealth services to expand access to care for patients.
• A valid drivers license as this is a mobile position

Qualifications

• Current certification as MD with an active state license.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Tebra
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for accurate medical documentation.
• Strong clinical skills in areas such as geriatrics, and acute care management.
• Experience with procedures including suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, phlebotomy
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Pay: $190,777.19 - $220,000.00 per year
