Internal Medicine Physician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Internal Medicine Physician to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of medical conditions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews, to diagnose health issues accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as endocrinology, cardiology, pulmonology, and dermatology, utilizing advanced medical imaging and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
  • Coordinate with specialists for referrals involving complex cases like neurocritical care, maternal-fetal medicine, or interventional radiology procedures such as vascular interventional radiography or catheterization.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications to foster long-term wellness.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records while adhering to NCQA standards for quality care.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance internal medicine practices and patient safety.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with active board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the designated region or country.
  • Proven experience in outpatient settings.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicals or similar platforms; experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques including CT scans, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology.
  • Ability to perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, airway management, wound care, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine is advantageous.

Pay: $127,695.71 - $169,483.00 per year
