Accurate Group, LLC is seeking a Residential Title Searcher to join its growing team. This position is responsible for providing title searches using on-line resources to search public property records, which result in the return of a set of documents reflecting the history of a property. This position has 2 other components to the job duties, that of an examiner and abstractor. The examiner duties entail conducting and examination of the title. As an abstractor you are responsible for determining what does and does not affect the title of a property. You will search judgement records and deed records using various county software and websites: obtain copies of deeds and judgements and transmit completed updates to the appropriate parties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Search, analyze and evaluate records relating to title of homes, land and buildings.

Ensure that the title to a property in question has no restrictions that may prevent or hinder its sale or use.

Examine deeds, deeds of trust, liens, judgements, easements, and plats/maps to determine ownership, encumbrances and to verify legal description of property.

Prepare property and title reports.

Analyze chain of title and preparation of reports outlining title-related matters.

Able to work independently as this is a 100% Remote Position

Search for applicable tax records at the county and municipal level
Position Requirements

College Degree Preferred ( at least 2 year degree)

No prior experience or training needed but knowledge of mortgage industry preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Strong organization skills to give the team direction.

This position will require attention to detail and thoroughness.

Strong ability to multi-task is required.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discount, interest commission, proportions, precents, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts basics algebra and geometry.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary: $18.00- $22.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday -Friday (8-hour shifts)
