International Dentist looking for Dental Assisting role

We are seeking motivated International Dentists who are passionate about expanding their skills in dental assisting within a dynamic, patient-focused environment. This full time or part time paid role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy dental clinic while supporting our team with vital clinical and administrative tasks. Duties

  • Assist dentists during various procedures, including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained
  • Take and develop X-ray images, including 3D scans, ensuring proper medical imaging procedures are followed
  • Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Measure vital signs and assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when needed
  • Support dental reception duties by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing patient flow
  • Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding to ensure precise communication and recordkeeping
  • Work Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm full time or part time

Qualifications

  • Dental degree from an accredited international program with eligibility or licensure considerations for practice in the U.S. or Canada
  • Prior experience or familiarity with dental assisting tasks in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable
  • X-Ray License
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies like 3D scanners and advanced imaging equipment
