International Logistics Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute group delivery order logistics; develop transportation plans based on delivery requirements, facilitate cross-departmental communication, optimize transit time, and mitigate transportation risks.

• Manage logistics supplier sourcing, contract signing, and periodic performance evaluations (including bulk logistics carriers [Air/Sea/Land], insurance, and express services).

• Classify products under appropriate HS Codes and manage the end-to-end export declaration process (overseeing import/export customs clearance, inspection, certificate of origin, and review of customs documentation).

• Monitor global tariff policies and trade control regulations to conduct risk assessments for import/export operations and optimize related solutions.

• Provide timely feedback on logistics and import/export exceptions (e.g., insurance claims for lost/damaged goods, flight delays, customs seizures, destination port abandonments) and deliver executable solutions for rapid resolution.

• Conduct regular reviews of exception cases to establish preventive processes and reduce recurrence rates.

• Operate the TMS (Transportation Management System) lifecycle (inquiry, comparison, quotation, product data maintenance, document uploading) and optimize system business functions.

• Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above; minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or foreign trade supply chain in a similar role.

• Proficient with U.S., Canadian, and Mexican customs policies and international logistics industry regulations; thorough understanding of import/export processes, customs clearance, and Incoterms.

• Possess established resources for logistics carriers and insurance providers.

• Strong English communication and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proactive, logical, and service-oriented with a strong team spirit; emotionally stable and capable of working under pressure.
