Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable International Medical Graduate to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff in a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and patient service, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Duties
- Assist in the assessment and management of patients under the supervision of licensed medical professionals.
- Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring comfort and addressing concerns during their visit.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare team members and document patient information accurately.
- Support the medical team in various departments, including Medical-surgical and Internal medicine, within a Level II trauma center.
- Participate in coding for medical records to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients, both inpatient and outpatient.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy and medical practices to enhance patient care delivery.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution outside of the United States.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in areas related to Medical-surgical or Internal medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with coding practices is a plus but not mandatory.
