Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven International Sales Team Lead to spearhead our global outreach efforts in research publication services. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of sales associates, drive revenue growth, and ensure consistent achievement of monthly sales targets of $4,000–$5,000 USD. The ideal candidate combines strong sales expertise with team development skills and thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of international sales agents to achieve individual and collective performance goals
- Set clear weekly and monthly targets aligned with the $4,000–$5,000 USD team revenue objective
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion metrics, and team activity through CRM dashboards; implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill-building workshops to elevate team capabilities
- Personally engage high-value prospects and support complex deal closures when required
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to refine messaging, offers, and go-to-market strategies
- Prepare and present weekly sales reports, forecasting updates, and market insights to senior management
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance protocols, and client satisfaction benchmarks
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in B2B/B2C sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in international markets (publishing, edtech, SaaS, or research services preferred)
- Strong command of English (written and verbal) with excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable in a remote or hybrid sales environment
- Based in Karachi and available for on-site work during night shift hours (9 PM – 6 AM PKT)
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with academic publishing workflows, RSP platforms, open-access models, or manuscript submission processes
- Experience managing sales performance metrics, commission structures, or incentive programs
- Knowledge of digital lead generation strategies, LinkedIn outreach, or email automation tools
- Multilingual capabilities (Urdu + English required; additional languages a plus)
Performance Expectations
- Team Monthly Revenue Target: $4,000 – $5,000 USD
- Team Lead Personal Contribution: 20–30% of total target through key account management
- Minimum Team Conversion Rate: 15–20% (qualified lead to closed deal)
- Client Retention & Upsell Rate: 60%+
- Targets are calibrated to campaign type and include a structured 30-day ramp-up period for new hires
