International Services ProcessorDetroit, Michigan SummaryThe International Services Processor supports the Office of International Services by processing immigration-related documentation and maintaining accurate international student records in SEVIS and university systems. This position focuses on compliance-based processing, data accuracy, and timely updates to ensure the university meets federal F-1 regulatory requirements. The International Services Processor serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) upon training and works within established procedures under supervisory guidance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) upon training and authorization.

Process student requests and updates within Trine University student record platforms.

Assist with Curricular Practical Training (CPT) processing by updating student SEVIS records and providing updated immigration documents to students.

Complete SEVIS registration for F-1 students each academic term.

Maintain accurate student data in SEVIS, Sunapsis (or applicable immigration system), and the university student information system in accordance with institutional and federal record-keeping requirements.

Conduct routine audits of assigned student records to ensure data accuracy and federal compliance.

Identify discrepancies or situations requiring regulatory interpretation and escalate to leadership within the Office of International Services.

Generate basic compliance and enrollment reports as requested.

Education and/or Experience
Required:
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Experience in higher education, records management, data processing, or customer service. Experience working with database systems.
