Internship - IT

This short-term opportunity is designed for students majoring in Information Technology, Networking or other related fields. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of network concepts, and be comfortable using small hand and power tools. This is an opportunity to work along side our technology team to handle the physical deployment of IT infrastructure in preparation for this iconic event.

Responsibilities

• Pull and terminate network cabling across event venues and facilities
• Deploy temporary cable runs in compliance with safety and layout requirements
• Install and mount network switches, wireless access points, and IP cameras
• Assist with physical setup and tear-down of IT infrastructure before and after the event
• Label, organize, and inventory cables, equipment, and hardware
• Perform basic troubleshooting on deployed equipment under the direction ofsenior IT staff
• Follow safety procedures when working with tools, ladders, and in outdoor environments

Skills & Qualifications

Interest or coursework in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field

• Comfortable operating basic hand and power tools including screwdrivers, drills, saws, and similar equipment
• Able to work on ladders and in aerial lifts at varying heights
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (switches, cabling, IP cameras) is aplus but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction and work as part of a crew
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying Wyoming weather conditions
• Must have Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation for necessary movement around site

Pay: $16.00 per hour
