Afandi Diamonds and Designs is a growing jewelry business with locations in Forney and Terrell, TX. We're a small, family-oriented company with a strong professional structure. We are currently looking for a creative and detail-oriented CAD Designer Internship to join our team and help bring our clients’ visions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Learn to create high-quality 2D and 3D CAD renderings for custom jewelry designs
• Learn to collaborate with sales staff, appraisers, and jewelers to turn concepts into manufacturable designs
• Learn to interpret client sketches, photos, and design requests into precise digital models
• Learn to revise designs as needed based on feedback from customers or production
• Learn to prepare production-ready files for printing or casting
• Maintain a well-organized digital archive of design files
• Assist in developing new jewelry collections or design concept

Requirements:

• Interest in learning CAD Design for Jewelry
• Open to learning different software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, ZBrush, or similar CAD programs
• Strong artistic skills
• Discover the technical pieces of jewelry components and manufacturing
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to look for answers when needed
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments
• Willingness to learn and grow with the company
