Interstate Cargo Owner Operator

Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and other heavy-duty trucks across interstate routes.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety standards.
• Plan and follow optimal delivery routes to meet delivery schedules promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly for transit to prevent damage or loss during transportation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with transportation regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with road laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving, courier services, or delivery driving with a focus on route driving.
• Valid driver’s license with a <PERSON> driver endorsement; experience with manual transmission preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting, moving cargo safely, and using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding loading/unloading procedures.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, cargo handling, and vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per week
