Interventional Pain Management Physician Tampa Bay / Sarasota region

Apollo Pain Management, a well-respected and established interventional pain practice in the exciting Tampa Bay area, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pain Physician to help grow our brand new, state-of-the-art office opening in Bradenton, FL. This will be an opportunity to work in a small practice with the ability to craft your practice the way you like, without corporate interference.

Candidates must have excellent clinical and procedure skills and be looking for a long-term commitment in an outpatient clinical setting. The position will provide a variety of pain management opportunities, and offers a competitive reimbursement package with incentives, and comprehensive benefits.

Work Location: Offices in Sun City Center, FL and Bradenton, FL

Clinic hours are 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

Employment Type: Willing to negotiate work schedule, from part-time (2-3 days/week) to full-time (5 days/week).

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience, plus Productivity Bonus.

Required Education/Training:

- DO or MD degree

- Completion of ACGME-accredited residency program.

- Training in ACGME-accredited Pain Management fellowship.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

- Board Certification in Pain Medicine: Eligible or Certified

- BLS/ACLS Certified

- Valid Florida Medical License

- Valid DEA certification

- Knowledge of current comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans for patients in acute or chronic pain

- Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy and physiology related to pain pathways, and pharmacology pertinent to pain management.

- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging modalities like XR, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.

- Proficient in minimally invasive interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, RFA, ESI, SCS, PNS, MILD, PANI, SIJ fusion, kyphoplasty.

- Proficient in use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR), eClinicalWorks preferred

- Understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations

- Ability to supervise mid-levels and cosign documentation

- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
