About the Opportunity

STL IO-IR is a modern, office-based outpatient interventional radiology practice dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care using the latest minimally invasive technologies. We offer high quality in a comfortable, efficient, and supportive environment.

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a focus on Interventional Radiology to join our team part-time. You will work closely with our Interventional Radiologists to manage the clinical workflow, perform minor procedures, and provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedural care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedural history and physical exams; obtain informed consent.
• Perform minor image-guided procedures (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC lines, and tunneled catheter removals) under physician supervision.
• Manage post-procedural recovery, including rounding and discharge planning.
• Act as a clinical liaison between patients, families, and the radiology team.
• Manage outpatient clinic visits and follow-up care for IR patients.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA).
• Certification: National certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA).
• Licensure: Active state license and prescriptive authority.
• Experience: Previous experience in Radiology, Vascular Surgery, or Critical Care is highly preferred.

Schedule & Benefits

• Schedule: Part-time, flexible. No evenings, weekends or major holidays.
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate (range: $60 – $85/hour).
• Benefits: Pro-rated PTO, 401(k) eligibility, and CME allowance.
