If hired, you will take a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting financial integrity. You will collaborate across departments to ensure precise inventory tracing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform detailed inventory data entry, ensuring accuracy in all transactions using Syteline.
- Reconcile inventory balances on the balance sheet through meticulous account analysis and account reconciliation processes.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions related to inventory transactions, verifying invoices and processing payments efficiently.
- Reconcile inventory accounts to the general ledger, preparing monthly journal entries as needed.
- Assist with general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and coordinate cycle counts to verify system records against actual stock levels.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and adjustments for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams on financial concepts such as budgeting, tax experience, and financial software integration to streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) along with technical accounting skills related to inventory management.
- Proficiency in data entry tasks requiring high accuracy and attention to detail; experience with 10 key typing is a plus.
- Knowledge of or experience with Syteline is helpful but will train.
- Proficiency in MS suites required.
- Experience handling accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Excellent math skills combined with a solid grasp of financial concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining precision in bookkeeping activities.
Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
