SALARY RANGE: The anticipated salary range for this role is $23.27 - $32.94 per hour. This range reflects a good faith estimate based on the targeted level for the role and typical compensation benchmarks across U.S. locations. Actual compensation may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographical location, and internal alignment.
SUMMARY
Edge Autonomy is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual with experience in international shipping and receiving and inventory control. 5S experience is a plus. An organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed person would do well in this role. Independently performs a wide range of duties related to supporting inbound & outbound logistical operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.

Coordinates inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.

Supports a variety of logistical functions including, sourcing, receiving, sourcing and purchasing and dispatching

Receive incoming shipments

Packaging and shipping products for domestic and international export

Documentation handling
-
Prepare and present inventory reports

Maintain accurate inventory procedures, counts, and policies

Examine various documents, including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements, to ensure compliance with regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and processing of documentation of exported material.

Ensures all policies and procedures are consistently followed

Communicate transaction problems or irregularities with Supervisor

Drives Continuous Improvement in assigned areas of responsibility
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:

7+ years of related experience

High school diploma/GED
-
IATA experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- IATA (Hazmat) Certified
- Forklift Certified

Experience coordinating international shipments, including preparing and managing necessary shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, BOL and export certificates)

Experience working with international trade compliance personnel

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The work environment may involve a standard office setting while also incorporating elements of a production area. Employees will use standard office equipment, including computers, and must demonstrate stamina to sit or stand while maintaining attention to detail despite potential interruptions. The role may require occasional activities such as walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and bending. Vision is necessary for reading printed materials and a computer screen, while hearing and speech are essential for effective communication both in person and over the telephone. Additionally, the position may necessitate travel by air or automobile. Employees may be required to use personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats, to ensure safety in the production environment. Employees may be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
