Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator – S & S Electrical Services

We are a licensed and insured electrical company serving residential and commercial clients. As a growing company, we are looking to hire a full-time Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator with at least 2+ years of warehouse and purchasing experience.

Job Description:
The Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator will oversee warehouse operations, manage daily inventory, and ensure materials are available for both residential and commercial projects. This role also includes purchasing responsibilities, such as ordering supplies, reviewing material lists, negotiating with vendors, and tracking deliveries. Knowledge of electrical materials is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
• Oversee warehouse employee(s)
• Receive, count, and stock incoming deliveries
• Track incoming/outgoing products in the Bolt Enterprise inventory system
• Input new materials, pricing, and adjustments into the system
• Process pull sheets and manage monthly residential stock orders
• Review purchase orders against invoices for accuracy
• Order commercial project materials based on daily material lists
• Communicate with field crews regarding material pick-up or delivery schedules
• Research vendors, negotiate pricing, and add new suppliers as needed
• Coordinate quarterly physical inventories and address obsolete materials
• Operate pallet jack/forklift when required
• Perform physical labor (lifting/moving heavy boxes as needed)

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• 2+ years of warehouse/inventory control experience (preferred)
• Purchasing experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of electrical materials (preferred)
• Self-motivated, teamwork oriented, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week as needed
