This role is with a well-established, privately owned manufacturing company in Richmond, Indiana that is entering an exciting new chapter of growth and support as part of a respected Midwest-based parent organization.
The parent company, headquartered in Michigan, operates eight manufacturing facilities across the Midwest and specializes in metal stamping and fabrication. Each plant maintains its own identity and operational autonomy while benefiting from the stability, resources and leadership of a strong corporate structure. Centralized support includes Human Resources, finance leadership (CFO oversight) and operational collaboration across plants.

Position Summary
The Inventory and Purchasing Manager will play a key role in strengthening operations by taking ownership of inventory management, procurement and material flow across the facility. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that directly supports production, shipping and receiving, and purchasing.
The primary focus of this position is to bring organization, accuracy and accountability to inventory systems while also handling purchasing duties, particularly supplier relationships and negotiation for steel and other key materials.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes and working closely with both office staff and the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management and Control (70-80%)
Purchasing and supplier Relations (15-20%)
Collaboration and Process Improvement
Qualifications
We offer a competitive salary range in the 75K-90K range or commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefit package. This is an on-site position, Monday to Friday normal business hours.
