Inventory Clerk (8 am - 4:30 pm)

Position Overview:

The Inventory Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records within the organization. The primary responsibilities include generating audit and cycle count lists and reports, distributing these reports to Inventory Associates, and meticulously entering resulting data while resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Additionally, the Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining and updating measurables reporting on a daily basis.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Create audit and cycle count lists.
  • Create daily, weekly, monthly reports and “Parts in license plate” reports using the ERP.
  • Distribute audit and cycle count lists to Inventory Associates in a timely manner.
  • Investigate outcomes of audits, cycle count lists and reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Enter data accurately and efficiently into the ERP.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory counts and recorded quantities.
  • Update daily measurables and inventory records using Excel and ERP.
  • Process Value Added Production work orders utilizing the ERP.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory calculations and reconciliations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certified, or be willing to obtain certification to operate power equipment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods occasionally.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 16 feet.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment with regular exposure to the warehouse.
