As an Inventory Control Analyst your essential job functions will include the following:

  • Assist with conduction physical inventory in main warehouse and field inventory locations.
  • Manage the process for deletion and creation of cycle counts with feedback from operations leadership.
  • Manage inventory adjustments and transfers.
  • Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions.
  • Communicate complex inventory problems to Manager promptly.
  • Develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals.
  • Develop initiatives to reduce slow moving inventories and to improve inventory turns.
  • Review inventory activities and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Assist in documenting best practices, creating and updating SOPs.
  • Seek opportunities to learn new systems and automation as needed to perform job more effectively/efficiently.
  • Determines eligibility for Inventory blanketing and holds as needed.
  • Track and report inventory compliance while coordinating with other Key Operations to ensure accountability for meeting goals and/or completing requests.
  • Collaborate with others in the organization, including leadership, to identify and solve problems and implement chosen solutions.
  • Plan and complete the assigned tasks within the deadlines.
  • Develop performance optimization suggestion as it relates to a dedicated network.
  • Develops and implements KPIs to maximize utilization (turns per truck per week) for all fleets.
  • Assists in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
  • Assists in developing recommendations on fleet sizing (where to add and reduce trucks, trailers, etc.)
  • Supports additional projects and activities as necessary.


Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of supply chain/inventory management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline is required.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills necessary to provide input and/or build reports and analysis that substantiate research and findings.
  • Moderate to advanced skills with key business applications, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and Outlook.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess strong communication skills necessary to articulate Dent Wizard’s programs and business strategies that drive demand and position the company as the segment leader.
  • Must be a self-starter and detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity and change, with the ability to support multiple projects and business functions concurrently.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling and persuasive presentations.
  • Ideal candidate will be passionate about learning, be collaborative, flexible, demonstrate initiative and demonstrate the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Automotive parts and service experience is strongly preferred.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Travel 10%-15% as required.
  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The starting compensation is expected to be:

$66,000.00 - $81,000/ Year
