JAE Oregon, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to join our team and drive excellence in supply chain management and inventory accuracy. In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory levels, and ensure seamless coordination across procurement, logistics, and sales functions. SUMMARY
Performs inventory cycle counts, maintains all data transactions, research root cause analysis supporting system improvement. Generate monthly inventory presentation. Oversees yearly physical inventory.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Responsible for processing, monitoring, and analyzing; giving accurate reporting of inventory level with a focus on minimizing costs, while maintaining product availability at the right amount and supply needed.
2. Responsible for performing physical inventory cycle count activities, SAP transactions and reconciliation of both manufactured components and consumable materials.
3. Supports periodic audits of Tool Rooms parts.
4. Follows established guidelines to create, administer, and analyze and report on all cycle counts and physical inventory of the organization.
5. Accurately records and maintains all inventory control transactions, as well as research root cause and corrective actions supporting system corrections to reduce variation in inventory.
6. Supports yearly physical inventory activities, providing timeline, establishing teams and all activities leading up to day of count. Supports root cause analysis to Controller for use of audit purposes.
7. Supporting role as needed for planning activities and material movement/transfers of inventory.
8. Supporting role to warehouse team for transfer, loading and processing JAEUS crossdocking activities.
9. Complies, implements and monitors all areas and company operations and safety policies and procedures.
10. Supports and fosters active participation in, and complies with, corporate values as outlined in the Corporate Values and Expectations Handbook.
11. Awareness of job-related environmental impacts.
12. Completes on the job and specialized training as required.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists in performing periodic physical inventories.

JOB SCOPE
This position performs recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm involving a moderate degree of complexity. This position operates from established and known procedures and receives moderate supervision. The impact of errors could result in unplanned material shortages, thereby affecting inventory control, accounting and planning processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of 2-5 years inventory or stockroom experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing/distribution industry
2. High school education or equivalent required.
3. Must be able to understand English in written and verbal form.
4. Proficient Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
5. Good math skills including the ability to convert measurements for daily tasks and problem solving.
6. Excellent organizational skills.
7. Effective verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization and between functional groups.
8. Must be able to give presentations to small and large groups.
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
10. Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
11. Experience with MRP systems.
12. Strong knowledge of standard inventory control concepts and procedures.
COMPETENCIES
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
1. Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
2. Must be mobile, with ability to work in and out of all production departments.
3. Ability to operate basic hand tools and warehouse equipment such as box cutters, scales, pallet jacks and forklift.
4. Duties of this position require continuous light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space, climbing, using equipment, handling lightweight materials, etc.
5. Duties of this position require periodic heavy manual effort and considerable exertion including lifting objects over 20 pounds, and up to 50lbs with assistance, requiring straining, pulling and lifting.
6. Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory.
7. Must be able to problem solve issues and be able to analyze the effects decisions may have on the company and customers.
8. Must be a quick learner and able to react quickly in a fast-paced environment.
JOB CONDITIONS
Working hours are generally during normal business hours, but can often include early, late, and/or weekend hours, as warranted by individual circumstances. 50% computer work/50% manufacturing floor. Main function of job is performed in an office setting.
