Inventory Control Assistant for Event Rental Company

<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic event rental company as an Inventory Control Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in managing and optimizing our inventory processes to ensure seamless event operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with procurement, warehouse management, and logistics teams to maintain accurate stock levels, improve inventory workflows, and support overall supply chain efficiency. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional experiences for our clients while fostering a collaborative and fast-paced work environment.

<Responsibilities>

  • Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and data collection activities to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing materials, negotiating supplier contracts, and managing purchase orders to optimize costs and lead times.
  • Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, including order fulfillment, materials management, and logistics for event setups.
  • Purchasing new inventory/Selling Used Inventory

<Qualifications>

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control within a logistics or retail environment.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency with rental management software or inventory tracking systems.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
