Inventory Control Associate

Primary Responsibility:

The Inventory Control Associate ensures inventory accuracy, integrity, and compliance within the warehouse. This role is responsible for counting, tracking, and reconciling product inventory, investigating discrepancies, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Schedule:

Sun- Wed 12pm- 10:30pm
Wed- Sat 12pm- 10:30pm

Essential Functions:

Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities to maintain high accuracy standards.
Compare physical counts to system records (sales orders, production records, purchase invoices) and resolve discrepancies.
Investigate variances, document root causes, and recommend corrective actions to reduce recurring issues.
Track and document damaged or held product; ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports including inventory balances, shortages, and exception logs.
Control product holds using labeling and physical restrictions, reconciling weekly.
Support warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory availability for shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
Utilize WMS, RF scanners, and reporting tools to maintain inventory accuracy and productivity.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency and customer service orientation.
Ability to make quick, accurate decisions and perform under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with warehouse management systems and RF technologies strongly preferred.
