SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for receiving incoming merchandise via scanner into inventory. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting any packing list discrepancies. This position will be providing prices by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels, processes, tracks and investigates problems

  • Maintains database, performs physical counts on inventory and reconciles actual stock count

  • to computer-generated reports

  • Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures

  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry

May lead, guide, and train co-workers performing related work and may participate in the

  • recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation

Communicate with departments and others to provide and receive information, resolve

  • Questions and issues, and coordinate activities as needed

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Enforces safety, health, and security rules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have above-average knowledge of Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, Point of Service Systems; Internet Software.

Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and moving packages, stocking and straightening merchandise in the warehouse, typing data into a computer system terminal, and participating in inventory counts
