Job Purpose:
Works independently to maintain accurate inventory throughout the warehouse (including cycle counts and internal damage) and functions as backup to other warehouse operations.
Duties:
•
Performs cycle counts for 30 minutes daily or as directed by the Accounting department
•
Reconciles, verifies and investigates inventory discrepancies
•
Documents and reports adjustments needed to correct inventory
•
Manages and maintains “seconds” inventory
•
Labels and records all items placed in “seconds” for tracking purposes
•
Organizes and cleans the “seconds” area
•
Consolidates and maintains best practice inventory placement
•
Places low inventory level items together and in the proper locations
•
Rotates bulk inventory as necessary
•
Ensures all inventory remains tagged, printing and affixing labels as needed
Skills/Qualifications:- Prior forklift operation experience
- 1 year or more of prior experience in a warehouse environment
- 1 year or more of prior experience working with inventory
- Basic knowledge of mathematics
- Working knowledge of small equipment operation
