Inventory Control Specialist (Receiving & Inventory) - ERP/Tally Expert

Job Title: Receiving Specialist / Goods Receiving Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming goods, ensuring precise documentation through the Goods Received Note (GRN) process, and maintaining meticulous inventory records. This role is crucial to our supply chain, ensuring that products are received, verified, and accounted for promptly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy in quantity, product specifications, and condition.
• Generate Goods Received Notes (GRN) accurately for all incoming materials, ensuring proper documentation.
• Identify and record any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately and process according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with purchasing, accounts payable, and suppliers to resolve receiving discrepancies.
• Update inventory management systems to reflect received goods and assigned storage locations.
• Organize and maintain the receiving and stockroom areas according to company standards and safety protocols.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory control role, with significant focus on GRN processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate comparisons and data entry.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, Google Sheets).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ability to lift and move materials, potentially weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification is preferred or required within a specified timeframe.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
