Job Description

As a Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for the inventory control warehouse associates, the cycle count process, inventory receiving, item picking accuracy, order fulfilment levels, inventory intersections and handoffs between Logistics, Supply Chain and Sales. The Inventory Control Supervisor will maintain current inventory processes/SOPs, extract, analyze, and understand data, develop & distribute standard reports, distribute/ clearly communicate results, report daily inventory adjustments, and help implement process improvements across the Distribution Center.


Job Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Analyze daily inventory, compares results to physical inventory, and reconcile differences.
  • Oversees Item Stock Master, identifying incorrect data where applicable.
  • Perform daily Inventory Adjustments and maintain records of those adjustments.
  • Proactively communicate inventory accuracy issues and provide suggested resolutions.
  • Complete reports to management on key findings and assessments.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and shipping standards.
  • Promote and ensure all items are assigned a bin location upon entry into a KSI facility. Maintain the integrity of all bin locations within the Distribution Center.
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Reconcile all outstanding electronic shipping and receiving bins on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure all cycle counts are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. College coursework is desired.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role in a warehouse setting. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office, especially excel.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with desire for continuous improvement. Goal-oriented with proven record of self-motivation and achievement.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills across entire organization.
  • Must have excellent people management and time management skills and abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
