Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Inventory Control Supervisor to lead inventory accuracy and materials management within our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of all inventory processes that support production and customer fulfillment.

As the subject matter expert for inventory control, you will oversee cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will partner closely with Receiving, Assembly, Production, Shipping, Planning, and Purchasing to ensure materials move accurately and efficiently throughout the facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system (receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns)
  • Maintain strong internal inventory controls to minimize shrinkage and operational disruption
  • Partner cross-functionally with Receiving, Production, Assembly, Shipping, Planning, and Purchasing to ensure accurate material flow and appropriate stock levels
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop, document, and improve inventory control procedures and SOPs
  • Supervise and develop material handling and logistics team members, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies
  • Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with inventory control management in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of cycle counting experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing and supervising a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a materials management role in a lean environment
  • Forklift certified
  • ERP software experience, NetSuite preferred
  • Experience investigating inventory discrepancies
  • Proven experience in implementing inventory best practices
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Barcode inventory management experience
  • Raw material inspection experience
  • Experience operating a double-reach forklift

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
