Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for all activities related to parts inventory movement, kitting and storage from stockrooms / warehouse to production, including ensuring overall inventory accuracy by conducting daily cycle counts, ensuring all inventory transactions are accurately transacted in the ERP system, keeping all inventory locations clean and organized, accurately processing kit lists and working with Production and Engineering to solve bill of material errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities related to parts inventory movement, kitting and storage from stockrooms / warehouse to production.
- Supervise department and mentor staff, to include recruitment, training, performance management and time and attendance administration.
- Work closely with Planners to develop effective kitting strategies.
- Develop job kitting processes and train staff to execute timely job fulfillment.
- Utilize the ERP system to complete kit requirements and accurately transact all transactions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile all inventory discrepancies.
- Oversee cycle counting program and institute best practices to ensure accuracy. Develop cycle count parameters within the ERP system.
- Organize and maintain stock locations; actively create new locations as needed.
- Partner with Production and Engineering to solve bill of material errors.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using LEAN principles.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of inventory control experience.
- Demonstrated computer skills working with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately enter inventory transactions into ERP system.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business or related field.
- Previous Lead or Supervisory experience.
