Job Title: Inventory & Logistics Controller
Reports To: Operations/Logistics Manager or General Manager
Location: Al Jarsh Metal Sections Mfg. Co. LLC, UAQ

Role Summary
The Inventory & Logistics Controller ensures accurate inventory levels, maintains efficient stock systems, performs audits, oversees daily warehouse/logistics activities, and validates stock data and entries to support smooth operations and minimize stock variances.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Control
•Maintain and update accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
•Monitor stock levels and buffer (safety) stock to prevent shortages and overstocks.
•Develop and enforce inventory processes, labeling, storage methods, and documentation standards.
System & Records Management
•Establish and maintain inventory tracking systems (software & manual processes).
•Cross-verify entries from junior data entry clerk(s) for accuracy and completeness.
•Reconcile physical stock with system records and fix discrepancies.
Audits & Reporting
•Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
•Prepare variance reports, analyze causes of discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
•Provide weekly/monthly inventory performance and stock movement reports to management.
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
•Supervise loading of outgoing shipments and unloading of incoming materials.
•Coordinate with warehouse crew, drivers, and suppliers for timely movement of goods.
•Ensure safe handling, storage compliance, and warehouse housekeeping.
Process Improvement
•Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in storage, documentation, and stock movement.
•Train staff on inventory policies, procedures, and best practices.
•Support procurement and production teams with accurate inventory data for planning.
Skills & Qualifications
Education
•Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Admin, or related field (preferred).
Experience
•3+ years in inventory/warehouse/logistics role;
•Experience in SME industrial / manufacturing / fabrication environments preferred
Skills
•Strong organizational and analytical skills.
•Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
•Working knowledge of inventory management software and Excel.
•Ability to lead audits and work cross-functionally.
