Job Summary:

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of inventory control, storage, and distribution within the organization. This role ensures accurate inventory records, minimizes loss, improves stock accuracy, and supports efficient supply chain operations. The Inventory Manager works closely with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer and business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control & Management
  • Develop and implement inventory management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points to ensure timely replenishment of materials and products.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
  • Process Optimization
  • Streamline inventory processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize holding costs.
  • Implement best practices for inventory tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
  • Team Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate inventory and warehouse staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company policies in all storage and handling activities.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory metrics (turnover rates, aging stock, variances, etc.).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Systems & Technology
  • Manage and optimize inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Ensure proper barcode labeling, tracking, and documentation for all inventory items.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
  • Work closely with logistics, sales, and finance teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and cost control.
  • Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain operations (management experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with demand planning, forecasting, and logistics operations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
