Inventory Manager- Gold

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Inventory Manager – Gold to oversee the end-to-end management of gold and jewellery stock. The role involves monitoring movement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining strict compliance with company and statutory guidelines related to precious metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor daily gold inventory including raw materials, semi-finished, and finished jewellery.
• Maintain accurate records of gold weight, purity, and stock movement in ERP / inventory management systems.
• Supervise inward and outward transactions—issue, receipt, melting, and reallocation of gold.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile variances with system data.
• Coordinate closely with production, sales, and finance departments for inventory updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations (BIS, GST, etc.).
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
• Track and minimize wastage and losses during production and finishing stages.
• Liaise with auditors and support periodic stock audits and surprise checks.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all precious inventory handling processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Graduate in Commerce / Business / Supply Chain; MBA preferred.
• Experience: 4–8 years in inventory management within jewellery or precious metals industry.
• Strong understanding of gold purity, weights, hallmarking, and valuation.
• Proficiency in ERP / Tally / Jewellery Inventory Software.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Knowledge of audit and compliance norms related to gold and bullion.
• Integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to handle high-value inventory responsibly.

Salary Range: As per industry standards / NegotiableEmployment Type: Full-time
