Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and supporting overall supply chain operations. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics to optimize inventory management processes, including familiarity with SEO, social media marketing, and e-commerce platforms. The Inventory Specialist will play a vital role in coordinating between procurement, sales, and marketing teams to maintain seamless product availability and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple channels, including online stores and physical locations.
- Utilize digital marketing skills such as SEO, social media marketing, and content marketing to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Coordinate with marketing teams on multichannel marketing campaigns to align inventory with promotional activities.
- Analyze sales data using Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other analytics tools to identify trends and inform purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements using inventory management software integrated with WordPress and product management systems.
- Support e-commerce operations by updating product listings, optimizing product descriptions with copywriting best practices, and ensuring accurate pricing.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities to enhance inventory planning strategies.
Skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, performance marketing, and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as WordPress and HTML for updating product pages.
- Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics for tracking sales performance and customer engagement metrics.
- Proficiency in research methods to identify market trends and competitive insights.
- Excellent copywriting skills for creating compelling product descriptions and promotional content.
- Ability to manage advertising campaigns across Facebook Advertising, Google AdWords, print advertising, and other channels.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including sales, marketing, and product management.
