Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & Materials Coordinator to manage warehouse/consumables, paint, solvents, and related materials for our aircraft painting operations. This role ensures production teams have the necessary resources to meet project timelines while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in SAP for Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Service Order material entries, and Inventory counts and reports
• Monitor and maintain warehouse stock levels across multiple locations (1 stock room, 2 paint storage & mix rooms, 2 paint hangars, 1 MRO site with several locations)
• Implement Lean practices, FIFO, and Min/Max inventory control.
• Conduct daily stock checks to ensure availability for current and upcoming aircraft projects.
• Communicate effectively with Production Managers, Leads, and Quality teams to meet operational needs and ensure product compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and identify alternative solutions when products are unavailable.
• Support office staff with required materials for day-to-day activities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proficiency in SAP for inventory and procurement processes.
• 2+ years experience with Inventory/Warehouse/Procurement in a production facility.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Experience in inventory control and material management.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, FIFO, and Min/Max practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Experience in aviation or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with aircraft painting materials and processes.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position; flexible shifts with weekends/OT may be required to support production needs.
