INVENTORY OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced NVOCC Inventory Operations Manager to oversee and manage container inventory, equipment control, and operational efficiency within our Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ocean freight logistics, container management, and carrier coordination, ensuring optimal inventory levels and smooth end-to-end operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control NVOCC container inventory across depots, terminals, and customer locations
• Monitor equipment availability, utilization, and repositioning to minimize shortages and costs
• Coordinate with ocean carriers, depots, truckers, and internal operations teams
• Analyze inventory data, forecasts, and KPIs to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with FMC regulations, contracts, and company SOPs
• Resolve inventory discrepancies, demurrage, detention, and equipment-related issues
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
• Prepare operational reports for management review
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within operations and supply chain

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in NVOCC, ocean freight, or container operations
• Strong understanding of container inventory management and port operations
• Experience working with Climax systems and inventory tracking tools
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing multi-location container inventories
• Knowledge of demurrage/detention cost control
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and documentation

Pay: From Rs65,000.00 per month
