This role involves forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams to optimize stock availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory. The Inventory Planner uses data-driven insights to support sales goals, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve overall inventory efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal fluctuations to predict customer demand and determine appropriate inventory levels.
· Maintain optimal stock levels across all retail locations and warehouses to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
· Develop and manage replenishment strategies, including reorder points and quantities, to maintain stock consistency.
· Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and manage lead times effectively.
· Monitor sales performance and inventory turnover rates to identify slow-moving or high-performing products.
· Recommend product additions or discontinuations based on performance data, market demand, and profitability.
· Ensure data accuracy in inventory systems and ERP tools by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepancies.
· Work closely with buyers and merchandisers to align inventory strategies with promotional plans and assortment goals.
· Generate and present regular inventory reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as stock cover, sell-through, and markdown rates.
· Identify and implement process improvements in inventory planning and supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
