We have an excellent position for a Inventory and Preventative Maintenance Technician based out of our Chino Meat facility. This person reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring parts are stocked and meet company quality standards, receiving material according to purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, conducting inventory counts, ordering, maintaining relationship with vendors, and documenting inventory processes and status. This individual is also responsible for maintaining the operating condition of all production equipment by performing preventative maintenance and repairs in the Meat Department.
General Responsibilities:

Manage inventory levels of materials, storing and organizing product utilizing the FIFO method, and determining re-orders required to ensure there are sufficient items on hand to meet business needs

Receive and inspect incoming material, confirming accuracy of orders and shipments received and that they meet the company’s quality standards

Keep inventory stocked, neat and accessible ensuring easy access, documentable and accuracy

Identify errors in inventory levels and shrinkage requiring further consideration and review

Stay current on and research new supplies and vendors, identifying potential opportunities for improved usage and outcomes

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed on meat production equipment, lighting, plumbing, and building needs.

Maintain communication and interaction with vendors, ensuring accountability, accuracy and quality and communicating any concerns to supervisors

Adhere to INO Health and Safety, Quality guidelines, OSHA standards, USDA and FDA requirements as they relate to Meat operations.

Perform other work-related job duties as required.
Work Schedule + Benefits:

Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)

Pay Range: $30.62 to $34.50/hourly DOE
The above represents the expected starting pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors-
Some overtime as needed

5 days per week: Sunday- Thursday (11am- 7pm)

Job Requirements:

Minimum Two (1-2) years’ experience in inventory parts management role (Required)

Minimum Two (1-2) years’ experience in production maintenance. Ideally in a food or beverage industry. (Preferred)

Computer literacy must be of intermediate or advanced level required
-
Experience standard tools and power tools
-
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage numerous parts and orders

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
-
Excellent customer services skills and ability to multitask
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

High School diploma or equivalent required
