Inventory Remediation & Store Control Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a competent, practical, and detail-oriented Inventory Remediation & Store Control Executive for a three-month project assignment. This position is not limited to physical stock counting or store support activities. The selected candidate will actively participate in inventory remediation initiatives and support implementation of improved inventory control practices across operational locations.

The role requires hands-on execution and the ability to independently continue assigned activities in the absence of the Project Team Leader while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inventory Remediation & Reconciliation

  • Support post-stock-count remediation activities and inventory correction processes.
  • Perform inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
  • Investigate stock variances and assist in identifying root causes.
  • Coordinate corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.

2. Store Control & Organization

  • Organize stores, warehouse, and yard materials systematically.
  • Implement and maintain location coding and bin mapping systems.
  • Improve material storage practices for accessibility and control.
  • Ensure compliance with approved inventory procedures.

3. Inventory Data & Documentation

  • Review and validate item master records and inventory data accuracy.
  • Support stock classification and inventory categorization activities.
  • Maintain inventory reports, movement records, and remediation logs.
  • Prepare progress updates and status reports for management review.

4. Inventory Operations Support

  • Verify stock movement transactions and inventory transfers.
  • Coordinate inventory activities across remote sites and operational locations.
  • Support implementation of inventory control improvements and standardization.
  • Monitor inventory practices and recommend operational improvements.

5. Project Execution

  • Work closely with the Project Team Leader to execute project deliverables.
  • Independently manage assigned site activities when required.
  • Ensure timelines, quality standards, and reporting requirements are achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or related field.

· 3–6 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, store management, stock reconciliation, or remediation projects.

· Strong understanding of inventory processes and warehouse operations.

· Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools preferred.

· Good analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and in field/site environments.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Pay: RO150.000 - RO200.000 per month
