Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist is under the direction of the Inventory Manager, is responsible for managing the flow of the organization's inventory and supplies. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible but not limited to:

• Receiving inventory, and maintaining accurate records of shipments and goods received
• Reconciling inventory audits to maintain acceptable inventory levels
• Inspect and verify deliveries to ensure quality and quantity align with purchase orders.
• Perform routine cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
• Creating inventory reports and providing them to the purchasing and inventory control manager
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials in designated storage locations.
• Ensure proper labeling, binning, and product rotation
• Physically move, lift and organize warehouse space, replenish inventory, and rotate stock to prevent obsolescence.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS)
• Coordinating transportation for shipments from one location to another and/or making deliveries as needed
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as- walk behind pallet stacker, Walkie pallet Truck and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse storage areas.
• Developing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors
• Other duties as assigned.
• Requirements
• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments (varying temperatures).
• Reliable transportation, maintain valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Products as well as Google products, and other communications related software programs.
