Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure the smooth flow of inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking inventory movements, conducting reconciliations, and supporting operational efficiency through effective inventory control practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in the system.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or excess inventory.
• Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure inventory availability.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyze stock movement trends.
• Ensure proper documentation of receipts, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Support annual physical inventory audits.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or stock control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems like ODOO, SAP Business One.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory best practices.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments will be an advantage.
