Inventory & Storekeeper Manager / Team Leader

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, self-driven Storekeeper Team Leader to oversee all inventory operations for a manufacturing facility in the construction materials sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling finished goods and raw materials, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on the ground in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires accuracy, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Management

Responsibility

Inventory Accuracy

Maintain accurate stock levels through routine cycle counts, monthly reconciliation, and variance investigations.

Material Handling

Oversee receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

Warehouse Organization

Ensure systematic storage layout, labeling, and safe material handling practices.

Stock Replenishment

Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and proactively request replenishment to avoid production interruptions.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain updated GRN, issue logs, consumption reports, and daily/weekly warehouse dashboards.

Operational & Process Management

Responsibility

Team Leadership

Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and assign tasks and evaluate daily performance.

Coordination with Production & Procurement

Ensure timely availability of raw materials for production and support efficient dispatch planning.

Compliance & Safety

Enforce safety procedures, proper material stacking, and housekeeping compliance.

System Usage

Update ERP/Inventory software accurately

Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks, propose improvements, and support implementation of new systems or SOPs.

Experience & Qualifications

Details

Industry Experience

5–8 years in inventory/storekeeping for manufacturing; construction materials industry preferred.

Material Expertise

Familiarity with handling raw materials, chemicals, packaging, and finished goods storage.

ERP platforms

Experience using inventory management systems or ERP platforms.

Education

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.

Language

Good communication skills in English; Urdu / Hindi is an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred)

Warehouse Safety, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain credentials.
