Inventory Control / Warehouse Manager

Restaurant Equippers, a privately-held national supplier of food service equipment and supplies to the Food Service industry, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Inventory Control/Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations and inventory management for our fast-paced retail and distribution environment in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control, timely customer order fulfillment, receiving and stocking merchandise, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining an organized and customer-friendly operation.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing warehouse or retail inventory operations, and the ability to motivate and train a team while maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing daily warehouse operations and customer order fulfillment
• Overseeing inventory accuracy, cycle counts, adjustments, and replenishment
• Supervising receiving, stocking, labeling, and merchandise transfers
• Preparing employee schedules and leading warehouse staff
• Training, coaching, and evaluating team members
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Creating work schedules and effectively managing a warehouse staff

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or logistics management experience
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Ability to lift heavy merchandise (50 lbs - 100 lbs)
• Ability to work up to 8 hrs on your feet every day (bend, reach, twist, and climb)
