Investment Analyst

SUMMARY

The Investment Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing financial data to provide

investment recommendations, helping the organization make informed financial decisions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research & Analysis: Evaluating financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors (inflation, interest rates) to assess investment opportunities.
  • Modeling & Valuation: Building complex financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis) to project future performance.
  • Recommendation & Reporting: Preparing detailed reports, presentations, and investment recommendations for portfolio managers
  • Monitoring: Tracking portfolio performance and company news to adjust investment strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or mathematics
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, along with experience in Bloomberg or FactSet.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data and evaluate risk.
  • Communication: Ability to present findings and communicate with company executives.

Certifications: Willingness to work toward and complete the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
