Investment Analyst - Real Estate

Senior Analyst, Investments | CRE Investment Firm | Los Angeles

We are working with a leading real estate investment firm that is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their fast-paced Investments team, and support growth across their multibillion-dollar portfolio of diversified real estate holdings throughout the US.

This is a high-visibility position, on a high-visibility team, and requires that the candidate be able to cover due diligence, underwriting, and financial analysis for various commercial real estate transactions - including acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management.

Main Responsibilities :

• Financial modeling and valuation analysis supporting acquisition and development teams for real estate projects including multi-family, office, and retail properties
• Participate in due diligence, underwriting, and closing process of potential acquisitions
• Develop models for structures including partnerships, construction/development transactions, and various debt investments
• Attend management meetings and visit potential sites
• Work with investment bankers and brokers
• Communicate regularly with internal corporate finance and asset management teams
• Assist in creation of presentations and ad hoc projects related to transactions

Qualifications :

• Strong financial modeling skills
• BS/BA in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related
• Previous Real Estate experience
• Highly analytical with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• 1.5+ years of relevant work experience
