Position Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven AVP with a strong background in financial consulting to oversee our financial research vertical focused on investment banking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in in creating financial deliverables, team/project management and client handling
Key responsibilities include:
· Leading the team which supports M&A & ECM transactions by preparing documents like Information memorandums, Roadshow presentations, financial models, valuation, etc
· Understanding client deliverables, determining scope of engagements, delivering project plan to clients, managing timelines, and driving deliverables through plans
· Engagement and co-ordination with clients which include investment banks, PE/VC funds and corporates and foster strong relationships
· Oversee staffing, training & managing a team of analysts and interns, and ensuring completion of work within timelines
· Involvement with senior management in creating budgets of the team and meeting P&L targets
· Mentoring and coaching junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis techniques, and professional development
· Building systems & processes, databases, firm-wide templates, and documents to standardize deliverable quality
Qualifications:
We are seeking a high-performing professional with strong financial expertise, analytical rigor, and demonstrated deal execution experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, team-driven environments and brings a deep understanding of the investment banking landscape.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline (CA/CFA preferred)
· 3–5 years of core Investment Banking experience, preferably across M&A, capital markets, or strategic advisory
· Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation, Excel, PowerPoint, and data platforms such as Capital IQ, Pitchbook, or Bloomberg
· Proven track record of executing live deals, conducting due diligence, preparing pitch books, and building client-ready financial analysis
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively
· Highly organized, capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines
· Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and the flexibility to work extended hours as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,100,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
